What is a dropback?
It's a dynamic backbend movement in which you transition from standing (Samasthitihi) into the wheel pose (Urdhva Dhanurasana) in a controlled manner. The return from the wheel pose to standing is called Standing-Up.
Goal: In this workshop you will learn to master both movements - drop-back and standing-up.
Who is this workshop for?
For all practitioners who want to learn how to perform drop-back and stand-up movements healthily and safely. This workshop is ideal as continuing education for yoga teachers.

General information about backbends:
Backbends in yoga are poses that bend the upper body backward and extend the spine. Some backbends include an opening movement of the shoulders and arms, stretching and opening the entire front line of the body. These poses promote flexibility, strengthen the back muscles, and open the chest area. Backbends have not only physical but also emotional and energetic benefits.
