ASHTANGA FOR BEGINNERS
This course is suitable for absolute beginners who have never practiced yoga before. You will learn the basic yoga poses: sun salutations, standing, sitting, and lying poses, as well as correct breathing during practice. Your body will become more flexible, stronger, and more vital, and your mind will be free of stress and tension.
LED CLASSES
The so-called LED classes, or guided classes, are led by the teacher. The entire first series of Ashtanga Yoga (the so-called Primary Series) is led using traditional Sanskrit counting. This means that the teacher announces and counts through the series, i.e., the sequence of poses (in Sanskrit). The group practices in sync at a common pace. Depending on the students' needs, backbends from the second series are then performed as preparation for the backbends – the bridges. This course is suitable for students with some initial experience in Ashtanga Yoga. If you are a complete beginner, you are also welcome here, as I explain beginner options for the poses in class.

MYSORE STYLE
In the Mysore class (the name Mysore refers to the city of Mysore in India, from which the Ashtanga Yoga tradition originates), students practice the series (sequence of asanas) independently and at their own pace, depending on their experience—e.g., first series, second or third, etc. The teacher does not announce or count the sequence, but rather accompanies the student in practice by providing so-called adjustments. These are hands-on assistance. The goal here is to enable the student to achieve correct alignment in the poses, but also to deepen certain poses or release tension.
The adjustments shouldn't be seen only as corrections, but rather as a form of communication and support in practice. Touch has enormous energetic power, strengthening the trust between teacher and student.
The Mysore lessons are suitable for all levels, both beginners and advanced.
